I was happy to see this part of the Organization is the fastest growing segment of Witnesses. There is "A Great Rivival Of The Annointed" and we had more growth in Annointed, than average dubs as a percentage! How Cool Is That?

@smiddy, they do know who is taking part, it's on the "Publisher's Card", Marvin Shimmer has the card on his blog, I have seen the cards on many occasions. Even their sources for predicting "Total chaos and Famine" for 1975, failed badly. We had the "Oil Embargo, Gas Rationing" but this was not total chaos. The Zodiak Killer, had San Fransisco scarred but in 1975 I walked the city streets as a teenager with peace. Try walking Long Beach now at night, maybe they were off by 37 years for Long Beach!

Hi Chariklo, India can turn on Christians pretty easily, Hinduism still contains the caste system, "honor killings" exist, so we have to take their assesment of JWs with a grain of salt. JWs don't "honor kill" or attack with weapons Mormons, Fundamentals or other types of Christians.

Moscow, April 23 (IANS) A man in Russia, proclaiming to be "God", set himself ablaze and landed in hospital in a critical condition with 70 percent burns, RIA Novosti reported.

A member of the Jehovah's Witnesses sect, the set himself on fire Monday in the Moscow region, police said.

The incident occurred in the village of Nakhabino, 33 km outside Moscow after the man bought fuel, poured it onto himself and set himself ablaze.

"According to the son of the injured man, his 43-year-old father had been a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses and considered himself to be God," the police said.

Investigators are probing the cause of the man's suicide attempt.

The Jehovah's Witnesses, with some seven million followers worldwide and over 200,000 in Russia, have been banned in a number of Russian regions and in some former Soviet republics.

Republicans would hate Compulsory voting in the United States, the 99 percent heading to the polls! If you don't attend on voting day, you are heavily fined! In South America the Witnesses will leave their ballot blank or check nobody.
